One day in prehistoric times, a period called the glacial age began. The glaciers slowly spread across the globe, and soon enough the Laurentide ice sheet and other ice sheets spread to Canada and north America. They spread to the Midwestern United States and the area that would eventually be known as Illinois. They also covered the great lakes region. For millions of years, the area that would later be known as Chicago was covered only by the Laurentide ice sheet. (Note: this was only thousands of years from the thing I just said.) Then from about 12,000 to 10,000 years ago, the first people in the Paleoindian Perioid, migrated to Illinois and lived in small hunting bands. (Note: I had a lot more photos but I decided to just use this one because of the guys hunting.)


Then the glacial age started to end. The earth had rising temperatures and the glaciers started to move. When the glaciers moved, they left behind water, clay, gravel, and a LOT of sand. They also left behind glacial moraines. They were all filled with minerals.

Soon enough, land formed. The land that would become known as Illinois was carved into a flat land( not southern Illinois though). The glaciers carved out big holes in the earth that would later be known as Lake superior, Lake Huron, Lake Chicago, Lake Erie, and Lake Ontario. Then the glaciers started to melt. While the glaciers melted, the holes filled with water. Once They were done spreading the water into the holes, they formed the five great lakes, Superior, Huron, Chicago, Erie, and Ontario. There were two waterways that helped link the great lakes to the Mississippi river, the Chicago river is one of them, it has three parts to it: the north branch, the south branch, and the main stem. There was also the Illinois river. Lake Chicago dried up and left behind a smaller lake called Lake Michigan.

When the glacial age ended, trees such as maples and oaks grew in Illinois. They formed forests. The climate was very dry though. There was not enough water for the trees. So instead they formed prairies. But while that happened, wind blew the sand over plants and rocks on the lake Michigan shore. That is how sand dunes along the lake Michigan shore were created.

Fast forward so many thousands of years and the following things will happen:

• Jean Baptiste Point Dusable will build a trading post/cabin and trade with other settlers items such as animal fur.
•  Fort Dearborn will be built in 1803 to protect settlers from Native American attacks.
• The city of Chicago was built up.
• The Great Chicago Fire occurred.

• The World's Columbian Exposition happened in 1893.

The story of Chicago is more than just plain evolution of a city, it is the truly wonderful story of an uprising from a Native American area to a truly wonderful city.

AB's ancestors part 1

Chicago IL a beachfront house. 1:42 am march 19 2134. Right when the clock hit 1:42, the alarm clock beeped. It woke a man up named James Clark suddenly. He groaned and under his breath he said, oh, already, I need more sleep. He reached over and clicked the alarm clock off. He got up and got off the bed and walked out of the room. He turned right and walked down the stairs to the kitchen. He turned left and told his computer, get me some cereal, and a plate. What kind of cereal? The computer asked. Cinnamon chex. Yes sir. The computer programmed the order and reached inside it's food order section. It got a plate and cinnamon chex. It poured it inside the bowl. It put a robotic hand out giving james the cereal. He took it and walked to a chair and a seat which was a window seat which showed the view of the lake. He eat his cereal while watching the beautiful sunrise. When he was done he put it next to the computer and walked upstairs to get dressed. He turned right and walked into his room. He changed his clothes into a suit and tie. He walked out of the room to the stairs and walked down them and turned right and walked to the door and beside it was a house lockdown station. He opened it and pressed the lockdown button. He shut the opening thing down. He walked out the door and closed it. He rounded the corner to his garage and pressed the open button. It opened And he opened the car door and got into the car and closed the door and started the car. He pulled out of the garage and closed it with a thing known as a garage closer+locker. He drove above the beach and pulled up and turned sideways and turned right and then turned straight again. He got to the Lake shore drive entrance and turned left and then a sharp left to lake shore drive. He drove and drove until he got to navy pier. He parked. He got out of the car and walked to the building known as Space station Chicago! He opened and closed the door behind him. He then showed the security guard identification. He said, right this way sir. He showed him to a hallway and he walked him down to his conference room. He opened the door and joined the conference. Well, let's refresh our buddy James Clark on what we are talking about. I know already, we are discussing the way on which we should travel to mars, and I know already, just take diameter 4.2x56=star traveler 45.67. Well everyone has agreed of that same diameter, so let's get our men. They got up out of their chairs and walked into the astronaut lounge. They got their men, Sam raflim( he is the first and only first AB.) Daniel bolnde, and Aaron Franco. They said, well let's get to work. They walked into the room known as engine room 16. Well let's just aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Some red gas released into space accidentally after the man accidentally pressed the emergency release button. The red gas swirled around the universe faster than the speed of light and turned the universe red than there was a flash which was an explosion. Than the universe was all gone leaving only darkness.

AB's ancestors update.

Hello, I want to give you an update about AB's ancestors part 1. It is that even though I said that I would only revise it once, I am going to revise it again. It will be a thing I call a " nothing left out" blog post. Now for the final time, let's begin the story of AB.

AB's ancestors part 1 revised for first and final time.

In a universe before the big bang and before the pre-big bang there was an earth much like our own only in 2129 in a very different universe. Now there was a space station in chicago IL and
It was a dome shape and had a launching station on it and an inside parking lot for workers. Now let's begin the story of AB with his ancestors. March 14 5:42 am 2123 inside the space station there sat a crowd of millions waiting in chairs to here a presentation. While they waited murmuring there was a room that was a quiet room. A man sat in there named James clark.
He heard a knock on the door. He said, come in. The door opened and a man came in. Sir, the crowd is ready to hear your speech. James got up and walked out of the door. He turned right, went straight forward, turned left, and turned right to a door. He pressed an access code on it which was A46791. The door opened and he walked into a room. The door closed behind him as he walked into a room. He walked over to a microphone and was like, is this thing on? Okay. People of this world, we have accomplished so much in exploration of mars. We have sent probes, rovers, satellites. And I think it's about time that we had a human space crew set foot on it. With my men Sam radin( he is the begginer of the whole clan that AB is in.) Alan carding, and Robert Delano, they can truly land on mars. Now goodbye. He walked out and went to where his men were to observe the fuel that they would be traveling by. They drove to a gas station but a gas testing station. He showed identification and they walked in. They were observing the gas when suddenly Alan fell onto an emergency gas release and the gas released into space and the black stuff in space turned red and then there was a flash and then there was only darkness.

AB's Ancestor's Part I

Hey, I know that i took a leave after that blog a few months ago, but i am returning back to AB now. Only taking another leave from that blog plotline and instead starting another blogline(a new word i made up) called AB's ancestors. starting in a pre- big bang universe. now: lets begin. space, 1:30 am, june 16, 2051. the ship slowly read the readings of earth. They were scanning the readings on their computers. Sir, i'm afraid we have a messup on the computer scanners the martian said. so, do you even know anything about the computer scanners? the captain said. God darnit you are so rude!. oh my god i'm just going to take a nap. the captain walked to his bedroom by getting up, walking off the bridge to the elevator, pressing the ENTER button, pressing the TOP FLOOR button, the doors closing, going up, walking out of the elevator door that was open into the top floor hallway, pressing the OPEN button on his door, and walking into his bedroom. he jumped onto his polar ice cap bed. and thought about why he had been assigned to this mission: on earth, that  little blue planet, there was a space station in chicago, well men, we have reached the moon, we have reached venus, saturn, pluto, jupiter, and that stuff, but now let's go to mars!. the speech was bold and that stuff, but he said this also, and with that, research man's observation of chicago. and with that he took his men to get books about that. and they studied, beginning with the beginning of roman observation of the red planet. and then they were ready to go. they assembled their men and blasted off like this, they walked into  their spacecraft  and sat down, all systems checked and ready sir. 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 blast off! the rocket rumbled and they went into space and set a course for mars. and then they landed on mars. when they landed, a martian was working in his fields when he saw his gogunda pig running off. hey, how dare you little rascal! he took off running, he leaped and did his war cry, he ran faster. he slid off a rock and took off running down and then ran down a crater when he heard a rumble. he looked into the sky and saw a bright light.  he looked up and he saw a thing coming down fast it crashed on both him and the pig. and the astronauts were killed.  and then a man came over and he saw the remains of a mysterious white broken large thing. he let the press know about it and for 30 years it remained a mystery, until they shot a rocket off to find where they had came from and they found out it was earth. so they let the scientific community know that they were going to orbit the planet. and that leads to the current place in our story. he fell asleep and then roooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it woke him up and he jumped off his bed and it crashed onto a scientific experemint which made the black part of the universe turn red and then, in a flash, the universe is gone.

I just wanted to tell you a major difference in ab history. the stories  are now going to take place in 2051.

A troubled kid part 4

Ab hit the ground everyone was screaming. arrows were firing at him. he ran across the city for a while. then a horse jumped at him and  a sword slashed him. Ab took the sword but something got him down...

when ab woke up he saw himself in a room. he looked beside him he saw lungs and he realized that they were his. he stood up a doctor came in. he said easy boy easy or die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he pulled a knife out of his pocket ab dodged the swings he fought and fought until finally ab grabbed the doctors shoulders and kicked his stomach and flew out the window ab jumped out

A troubled kid part 2

there was a huge hole in the ground. the cop took out his gun and pointed it at him. don't do it kid. ab backflipped into the hole he fell through the hole so fast it made the air in his lungs go out  he fell through the lava when he woke up he had blood on his face he stood up the blood on his face dried he was exploring for a while when he heard something. something made him fall to the ground. to be continued...

A troubled kid part 1

Before ab was a hero,  he was a troubled kid.  you are about to experience his dark side. ab was riding the bus nobody  knew that he put grenades on the wheels.  three two one boom!!!! the bus exploded. (this is the music that was playing in his head).  

the driver got up from the explosion with bad wounds on his body. he growled  and charged at ab.  Ab got chased around the city (Detroit). He was being chased around the park when a mother and her four year old daughter said "mommy there's a badly wounded bus driver chasing a boy" and then her mother said "Melanie, you're not supposed to see that!!"  

ab knew that the only way to get away was to go into the forest. he ran in and got chased around the forest with hikers just watching him. one was like "what the...?" he came to a cliff and he jumped off.  he swam to shore and went back to the city. he went to the city hall. he lied to random people that he had to take a cab home and his mom forgot to give him money but he was just trying to get money.  he saw a comcast van and a tv in it. he took a wireless tv and went behind a skate park (behind them there are alleys usually or abandoned places) he was watching "Cop Chase"when he saw a cop car on it heading down the street that he was on and started running.  then he turned into a werewolf. (werewolves can run up to 35 miles per hour) 

ab runs into the zoo and he jumps into the aardvark habitat he goes into the aardvark house and he discovers a secret compartment. (author's note- the author is interested in reading for the night so he is going to cut this short.) he crawls through the compartment and discovers a secret laboratory. he searches around for a while and then he sees a skeleton in front of him.  he finds a light switch in the dark and turns it on. it was a medical research skeleton. He hears noises coming down the tunnel which he accidentally left open. there were windows for some reason and he jumped out one.  the cops chased him. he went to a construction site. he climbed up the building when another cop climbed up too. the cop was about to get him when ab said "get away from me" he suddenly saw all of the streetlights flickering. he saw something glowing in the sky. he saw something coming towards him and then it fired a laser at the platform that he was standing on. he fell to the ground. they fired again, this time at the ground and ab saw the ground crumbling. (ab only talks once in this volume. he has a british accent and I have changed him from a vampire to a werewolf)

(Mom's ps- the author has become very adept at using spell check as well as demonstrating his own exemplary spelling skills.  The author just won his 2nd grade class Spelling Bee.  Later this week he competes against 3rd and 4th graders.)

To Die or Not to Die

This is another book i am going to write. it is called to die or not to die.  it is about  a 19 year old boy named mark henderson who is part of a evil society  but then starts a rebellion  if you want to find out more you will have to read it
